Services

We are a full-service Veterinary Hospital, serving residents of Rifle, Silt, New Castle and Parachute.  We offer exams, vaccines, parasite prevention, detection and treatment, surgical and diagnostic services; including digital x-ray, and in house laboratory. We accept CareCredit.

Diagnostic Services:
Our in-house laboratory and digital radiology allow for complete blood testing and state of the art x-rays, enabling us to diagnose and monitor many medical conditions. We also have the ability to do complete urinalysis and parasite testing. We can also send bloodwork and tissue biopsies to an outside laboratory for specialized diagnostic testing.

Surgical Services:
This includes anything from routine ovariohysterectomies (spay) and neuters to laceration and fracture repairs, bladder surgery, intestinal foreign body removals and amputations. We are able to schedule "speciality" surgeries with a traveling Orthopedic surgeon. All of our surgery patients receive Intravenous fluids during the procedure, which is the safest practice  for your your pet. Our heated surgery table keeps pets warm during these procedures.

Anesthesia:
Veterinary medicine has come a long way in the last 20 years. We now use many of the same drugs that are used in human hospitals, ensuring greater safety for our pets. We also use monitoring equipment such as an ECG machine, pulse and blood oxygenation levels, and blood pressure monitoring.

Preventive Health Care:
This refers to all the things necessary to PREVENT disease, or catch it in the early stage. Examples are routine exams (twice a year!), vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm testing and prevention, routine fecal testing and deworming.

Dentistry:
We provide ultrasonic teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, and tooth extractions.

Cold Laser Therapy:

Veterinary cold laser therapy can be used to promote healing for a variety of conditions. We use a class IV veterinary laser that is fully mobile. Cold laser therapy is non-invasive and most animals do not mind having laser therapy applied - most actually enjoy it. Cold laser can be used on any species of animal. If your animal has a health issue that you think may benefit from laser, or if you have any questions at all, give us a call or send us an email - all our info can be found on the contact us page.

Large Animal Services:

Have horses or livestock? Our sister clinic, All Pets Mobile Vet, offers a full range of large animal veterinary services. Click here for more info.

Referral Services:
There are many specialists now, just as in human medicine. We utilize these resources whenever necessary to provide the best possible care for your pet.

Did you know? Cats talk to humans through their meowing. Long and energetic calls mean "feed me now". They make shorter, more pleasant calls when trying to get picked out from an animal shelter.
