Dr. Lindsey Brooks

Dr. Lindsey Brooks is an associate veterinarian at Valley Veterinary Hospital. Lindsey enjoys the challenge of a wide variety of cases that present daily to a veterinary practice and particularly enjoys surgery, internal medicine, pain management, acupuncture, and ongoing wellness pet care.

Lindsey was born and raised in Colorado and has had a lifelong passion for caring for animals. She completed her BA in exercise science with an emphasis on physical therapy at the University of Kansas and then received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2006. Lindsey completed an internship at CSU Veterinary School/Denver Dumb Friends League and then practiced at Mesa Veterinary Hospital in Golden, CO.  Lindsey is a member of the Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association.

Lindsey moved to the Roaring Fork Valley with her husband Ross, son Tate, and daughter Lois in late 2012. Lindsey and her family enjoy biking, hiking, and being outdoors with their dogs, Sugar and Terry, and lounging around the house with their crazy cat Stuart.
